10th March, I am directed by Viscount Halifax to enclose in original a statement of arms and ammunition which passed through Hong Kong in transit to China during the first half of 1940, and to request that it may be passed on after perusal to the Ministry of Economic Warfare for perusal and eventual return to the Colonial Office, from which department it was received.
